"Sony making PS3 hard to code for" a silly thing to

Post » Fri Sep 07, 2012 10:23 pm

Can I ask the moderators to have this line: BLAME SONY FOR MAKING PS3 HARD TO CODE FOR FOR ALL YOU SKYRIM WOES and similar itterations of this redundant (and wrong) remark to be emphaticaly discouraged?

It's been done to death and only ever seems to get trotted out for the purposes of starting flame wars.

This needs attention IMO.

Thank you in anticipation of a response.

I realize its important but I wish they wouldn't keep putting out the same writeup over and over again with a few new things mixed in. Just give me the new please.

Jodders, the truth is that the game runs horribly in all platforms. Think about this... if the PS3 is soooooooo hard to code for, then the 360 is easier, right??? Then how come all three platforms have a lot of the same issues. DLC? That's just another monster. It runs terrible on 360 with the crashes, framerate problems, and all those wonderful performance issues people like so much. The PC version? It runs terrible too. Granted they have more power but somehow the same issues present themselves.

The most important thing here is that most people are blinded by the fanatism of Bethesda that they are going to blame everything from the console, to the jews, Hurricane Katrina, but not Bethesda and their inability to make a working game. In their entire history, they haven't made 1 NOT 1 game that works like it should. You can say Morrowind is the closest but that was because they had motivation. They were going bankrupt.

"One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back." Max Payne

Sooner or later the fans will stop putting up with this [censored] and go with the competition as is getting heavier. And they seem to make complete working games. So, if these people don't change their ways of doing every game half assed then chapter 11 will come calling and this time the fans won't save them

Samples:

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1409683-why-please-someone-answer-me/ Must be the 360 being hard to code for
http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1409536-honest-straightforward-answer-please/ Must be the console overheating or maybe Global warming
http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1408278-game-has-become-unplayable-for-the-second-time/ He played more than 100 hours. His fault
http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1402010-pay-20-to-break-your-game/ This guy was just plain stupid. He must have thought that giving Bethesda money would lead to them giving him a working game. this guy complaints about the alchemy lab from breezehome not being there after getting dawnguard. Luckily, he can fix this by getting House Armor DLC where the Alchemy room is now replaced by the kids room. Yeah, pay to fix it!!! awesome!!!

Nice try OP but the moderators wouldn't agree with you I'm afraid as Beth has tried to hint in the past that Sony is a factor either with the hardware or the need for certification.

This developer so far refuses to take blame or accept responsibility for it's errors made with Skyrin or when a new patch has made things worse.

Just remember according to Pete Hines "Skyrim works just fine on PS3 and you can't convince me otherwise" <----That level of ignorance is incredible imo.

It has nothing to do with the game being massive but rather Bethesda's incompetent coding. One guy, Alex Blade, shamed them all. Unfortunately he isn't going to update SkyBoost any time soon with all the patches and Dawnguard.
