It should be somewhere around the 360 line, considering Brink is currently #5 on the Top Sellers on Steam, all though thats not saying much without any numbers.

Pretty disappointing how much lower the PS3 sales are! Still going to be immense though!

If BRINK had blood and gore and a M-Rating and was advertised that way, trust me, it had more pre-orders.

But sadly it's a quality game, herp derp.

OR maybe people just don't like, wanna get, BRINK?

I wll get it eventually, but Bethesda isn't the most favored fps publisher.

just think. Many peple go after fps like DICE/EA/Activision. I know I do. Brink is a new series, and from here will have to expand to get a larger community.

One of the reasons not many pre-orders for the ps3 have been made might be the whole psn down.

No mp for Brink pretty much ruins the big fun factor for it.

Most people also don't manage to fgure out that Splash Damage is the developer for BRINK and has delivered quality rather than quantitiy (BF, CoD) in the past.

Sadly, its a fact that many people are stupid and don't have the brainpower to think for themselves. By now people should know the difference between publisher and developer, and should above all know that Activi$ion is just a greedy corporation that doesn't give a rat's ass about the quality of their products *couch*BO*cough*

I believe the pc sales will add quite a bit more to those pre-order numbers, especially on europe, since I believe the european market has a bigger proportion of PC user compared to the NA market (when it comes to gaming).

Actually. The Xbox 360 version of Brink has the highest pre-order count, currently.

Your comment means absolutely nothing without the source/proof. You might as well have just said you can fly with the twitch of your pinky, and you piss malted liquor.

I know there's a source somewhere, because someone posted it before to ease a concern of mine. The source showed Xbox 360 as #1, the PC #2, and PS3 #3. I'll try to find the source but I can't make any promises.

I for one do not want to test the theory that BeartheTyrant can in fact urinate malt liquor but weirder things have happened.

I would assume that the order would be 360, PC, PS3 just because that's normally how things go.

It is sad that most people do not know the past quality things that SD has done because they have always delivered in this genre. Hopefully, Brink will be big enough where it can throw them into the forefront.

The amount of advertising has been good. I've seen many banner ads on websites, commercials on advlt Swim (which will do well for their numbers showing it to that many people), and my local Gamestop has adverts out so hopefully this will get SD lots of attention for their game and help them so they can make more games in the future.

Ok. So basically... I read the source wrong.

Xbox 360 does have the highest reported pre-orders for Brink right now, followed by the PS3 version. Unfortunately Valve doesn't want to release any sort of number showing PC pre-orders. Therefore, my statement was unfounded because PC pre-orders could be either first or second, or (doubtfully) third.

GameStop's in-your-face ad campaign by itself is probably multiplying public awareness -- the posters on their windows and huge displays behind the counters don't go unnoticed.

Don't cuss down on Gears of War, it's a quality game too

It just has more pre-orders becuase it's a known and successful stablished franchise, so people know what they get, and yes.. It does get a little more marketing

Atleast BRINK secures spot no. 2 on the list

Those numbers have nothing to do with the PSN being down. That survey was taken long before the PSN went down.
