I) DESCRIPTION
SORCERER RENAMER is a magic mod that allows to rename in game a lot of named Forms at will.
II) USAGE
Player receives two Lesser Powers, immediately on load of a save, once fighting controls are enabled in other cases.
The first Power allows to rename targeted NPCs & Creatures, the second opens a Menu.
PLAYER : Rename the Player
INVENTORY : Rename an Inventory Object selected with a Container
SPELL : Rename the equipped Spell selected with a Num Key (0 = Left Hand, 1 = Right Hand, 2 = Other, 3 = Instant)
SHOUT : Rename the equipped Shout
CELL : Rename the current Player's Interior Cell
OTHER : Rename the closest named Activator, Container, Door, Flora, Furniture or Tree
RESET : Restore all original Names
UNINSTALL : Uninstall the mod
CANCEL : Exit the Menu
* Controls are disabled during renaming.
* Repeating a process on a renamed Form will restore its original Name.
* 128 Forms maximum can be renamed.
III) RENAMING
The Name must be typed on keyboard with letters, numbers or others to a maximum of 40 characters.
These special keys are performing the following actions :
ENTER : Validate the new Name
CAPS LOCK : Toggle CAPS On/Off (default : On on 1st character, Off on others)
LEFT SHIFT/RIGHT SHIFT : Hold to invert the Caps status
ALT GR : Hold to access special characters (depending on keyboard)
BACKSPACE : Delete the last character
DELETE : Reset the new Name
INSER : Add the original Name to the new one
ENTER (Num) : Add the Player's Name to the new one
ESCAPE : Cancel
IV) LANGUAGES & COMPATIBILITY
Sorcerer Renamer is compatible with English, French, Italian, German & Spanish keyboards and versions of the game. English settings are used by default for all others versions.
V) KNOWN PROBLEMS
* The game sometimes refuses to display correctly the chosen character.
* Vowels with diaresesis or circumflex accent are not currently available.
* Certain NPCs like Jarls can not be renamed yet.
* A few Activators are difficult to rename in specific places.
* All references of a Form are renamed when one is for now. The next version of the mod (planned for next week) will allow to rename only one chosen reference if wished, like the Player's bed or chest in Breezehome uniquely.
VI) UNINSTALLATION
This mod must be uninstalled with the "Uninstall" Option of the Menu.
