Please tell me I didn't "oops" and make it so he can't come back in the SC. How was I supposed to know he just wanted to talk on the second meeting? After all, the accursed thing attacked me first.

When you walk forward, you automatically get put into dialogue...How did you miss that?

It's easy: I walk out the door, see it sitting there, and killed it. There was no dialogue for me because I didn't move up close enough. No matter. I restarted the SC from a previous save, and got the Soul Tear achievement.

But to anyone else: yeah, don't kill him a second time. If you do, he will not come back.

Hmm, that's a good tip for players that are not playing as the Dragonborn, and don't want Misc. quests that we can never finish without starting the main quest clogging up our journal.

Odd how I never attacked him yet, even with non Dragonborn characters.
