Ok I just went and collected my soul, and all it did was add a black soul gem to my inventory, and now what do I do? I also just noticed my stamina, health and magic have been lowered like 30 points, and Im thinking the lack Of soul has something to do with it.

Help me Beth forums, your my only hope.

Have you finished that main quest in the soul cairne, when I left and came back it was all good.

What, so of it adds a black soul gem does that mean it worked or did it glitch on me?

And what did letting serena take some of your soil really do? All she said that it would weaken you.

Nothing really, if her mother has told you to fetch the soul gem and you have left the soul cairn once, you should be fine on subsequent visits,

You have to go and find your Soul Gem in the Soul Cairn. Once you do, you din't suffer the Drain effect of the Soul Cairn and are free to enter and leave it via the Portal in Valerica's Lab anytime you choose.

Ok, so I guess it worked, I thought you had to activate it or something.

And my stats are back to norm now, strange.

It's because you have your Soul Back... it's in a little gem, but you still have it.

I don't know.

I've always gone in as a True Undead, a Vampire Lord. So I've never had to go and get my Soul. But I have a friend from the Beta test who did the Soul Trap to get in, and she never tried using the Soul Gem after that. She just let it sit in her inventory.

Ive cleared out my inventory of all soul gems many times since and no problems, like I said before she explains all .

Check your Active Effects in the Magic select menu. You may be diseased

What is this "collecting my soul" stuff you guys are talking about? I've completed Beyond Death and don't recall having to collect my soul or anything... Did I miss something??

Same. I did the DG path and got Soul Trapped and didn't have to recollect my soul.

On a side note, does anyone know the purpose of the little crevices that you can 'harvest souls' from?

What happens if I use it :/

your soul returns to the soul cairn...any soul thats soul trapped returns to the soul cairn. if your a nord that means no sovngarde for you after you die
