i'm getting sound delays sometimes. like when at full gallop on a horse, the hoof sounds will stop and take a few seconds to "catch up". usually in a loud bang. also, again mostly on a horse, i'll be completely still but i'll hear the sound of jumping and landing. like off a small rise or something. this will repeat indefinitely until i move away from the spot.
again, these are mostly on a horse but pretty sure i've heard the "jumping" sound glitch while just on foot. pretty sure these are not mod related as i've experienced them in just vanilla.


any ideas or fixes? thanks

I am getting both. Also happens when you're a werewolf, the game sometimes fails to load the footsteps sounds in time and you don't hear anything.

I hate how importance of sound has gone downhill during the last maybe ten years. Another great issue with Skyrim is sounds not properly updating their position - They stay in place whereas the object emitting them has moved. It is extremely obvious with roaring dragons and when you hear your own werewolf grunts way behind yourself.

Happens all the time for me - muffle, flesh spells etc.

I get this every now and then, unfortunately it is usually followed by my game freezing up and me angrily restarting my xbox.

It just happens, more regularly when you are going downhill, at speed.

I think it has more to do with synchronising sound, vision and motion, rather than the horse or any fault of us as players.
