So basically, I live in Singapore.
Australia is 3 hours ahead of me. Its already 11th of November here and is now currently 2:20 AM.
I waited all day for the game to unlock and I come back home to find out that the game is still in pre-load.

Why is that?
This really confused me. So I went to check the store page to find out if it was already unlocked there.
But I found something very confusing.

The game will be available on the 11th of November and will unlock in 21 hours.

Its already the 11th here. And I have to wait another 21 hours?

What is going on? I need an explanation here. If the game unlocks by timezone. I should be able to play it 3 hours after Australia unlocks theirs.

Well, maybe Steam doesn't do timezones well.

I remember being stationed in Korea in 79, watching/listening to Monday Night Football (aired at 9 pm East Coast Time), at 10 am Tuesday morning. The 13 hour time difference took some getting used to.

Boy, was I surprised when I returned to the US and they moved it back to Monday night again. Oh wait ..... lol.

Have you tried restarting Steam?

Multiple times. Also restarted my connection. Still tells me I have to wait for the 11th.

It's not just you. The entire Singapore has to wait till 12 of November instead of 11, apparently Steam thinks we share the US timezone instead of the oceanic one..

Damnit, steam. Y u no geography.
