I accidentally sold my Nightingale gloves and can't buy them back. I've used the player.additem command to spawn them and despite a "Nightingale Gloves Added" message they are nowhere to be found in my inventory. I then thought I could try to pickpocket Karliah for hers but she's nowhere to be found. Any help will be appreciated.

Worst comes to worst you can use 'coc QASmoke' and find them in there

Girlfriend says you can just touch the stone again, and you'll get the set back.

I haven't done the Thieves Guild quests as of yet, so I have absolutely no idea what this is supposed to mean. Hope this helps, though.

Has it been confirmed you can get a better set of the armor if you re-touch the stones at a higher level?

there are several versions of the Nightingale armor, the one you added was probebly Karliah's personal armor, the proper version is FCC0D, FCC0F, FCC11 and FCC13 or you can use to view the codes for everything with nightingale in its name

coc whiterun more than likely, I used coc riverwood to get out of it, could always use that and then travel back to whiterun
