SPECIAL MOMENTS OF WONDER

Post » Mon Dec 19, 2011 3:45 am

HI skyrim adventurers just a thread for peeps to mention special moments in game.

PLEASE NO TROLLERS OR FLAMES...AND NONE ABOUT BUGS/GLITCHES.

i have had several moments in my game that were special.

1-when realised the size of map being just a few hrs in

2-my first dragon take-down

3-seeing the amazing auroa in the night sky whilst out in the wilderness

4-clearing a dungeon of around 30/40 drueger deathlords and other drueger nasties for 1 quest(cant remember the name)

5-standing on top of a mountain and looking at the world around you.

6-moving to quests or citys without fast travel and taking in the fabulous enviroment

7-being wacked into the air by a giant and his club

8-falling down a huge void avoiding rocks and landing in a huge lagoon in kangretzel

these are just a few, im loving the game and know its got issues here and there but its still good enough to give you some special moments.

please make yours be known

A lot of people give Skyrim enough credit. It might have not lived up to your expectations, but by the divines, it's still one helluva game.

Anyone who says "none" is a liar... or simply the worst gamer on record. I hadn't made it out of the tutorial.

Spoiler
When you retrieved the stone rubbing in the thieves guild questline, and you escaped by jumping down a waterfall

Lost Valley Redoubt. Every time I find it. I wish the Forsworn wouldn't respawn there so frequently, but I can't begrudge their desire to hold onto the place so dearly.

Taking down my first Steam Centurion Master... at level 20.

Killing two dragons at once, at a word wall, naked.

It's all moments of wonder, surely? If a couple of hours go by and I don't have a "wow, that's amazing" moment then my love affair with Skyrim will probably be over.

First true moment of amazement? Blackreach. Because that was something I had never seen in any preview video nor had any knowledge of before-hand. And it's stunning.

Your right about it not being a bug but... Flying through the air as if you were shot out of a cannon goes abit far :P and how do you possibly fly upwards when he smashes your head into the ground?
