12-12-12 is after the holiday buying season. Personally I would love to be playing it over my Thanksgiving break.

That's only 9 days to play before we die.

Personally I don't think they will. I suspect they will try to release it across all platforms at the same time.... maybe even for the Playstation. Was just a joke hence the smiley :hehe: Not being a 360 user was not aware the market place for the 360 only updates Tuesday (which is inconvenient)

The longer it takes the better it will likely be. Don't wish it here faster than needed
I agree. I hope they managed to prepare all the DLC for Playstation. I made a friend discover The Elder Scrolls Series but he has a Playstation and I"m kind of disappointed for him that he can't explore Dawnguard and such on this platform.

And now, speaking about the 360 timeline, and as uncertain as the idea is about 12.12.12, I don't think they would rush with Halo 4 coming out in November. Well, I don't think they should.

That makes sense, just the elder scrolls forums will die not the whole world...

I think we will definitely see this before Christmas, my guess is going to be the Tuesday on Thanksgiving week.

true, i still want it now though :teehee:

i honestly can't see it taking that long anyway, i can't remember how long it took from when the first details of dawnguard were found to when it was finally released, but i don't think it was 2 months.

Yeah, and Y2K was going to fry all our infrastructure and put us back in the 1800's. Anyone remember that? I bought a supply of canned food and a 12-gauge shotgun for nothing.

12-12-12 would be cool... they're not going to get another chance for a date like that until New Years Day, 2101 (01-01-01). I'll be 129 then.

UPDATE:
New DLC (hypothetical) release date: 12.12.12 ???

Wish I could edit the topic title though... thanks for updating the title for me, kind person!

Hi all!

After some reading about the new update and all. It occured to me that if it actually leads towards a new DLC, I can only think of one date for the release day: 12.12.12

Bethesda released Skyrim almost a year ago on 11.11.11 and I think that it would be a nice nod to the one year, one month and one day anniversary.

What do you guys think?

Of course feel free to share what you think this DLC might unearth.

All the best

They should stop using predetermined release date days .... we all know what happened to Skyrim released prematurely ...

If the new DLC does come out about that time, it'll be good timing for me. I should have ACIII finished by then, and it'll give me enough time to get used to Skyrim controls again.

But I do have to say, the gimmicky date thing is tired. 12/25, so boys and girls have something to do on the day their relatives give them crappy presents. :D

Those boys and girls should be happy they are getting presents.
