FREAK! I got to get PP up to 50 and use 3 perks in order to get Extra Pocket's to increase my carrying capacity!

What a joke.

Agreed. This has upset me as well. That's the only perk I want from pickpocket.

Guess i'll just spend some time to get pickpocket up to 50 really early.

I've seen no official source of this. I am still under the impression that you get perks till you hit level cap.

It is more like 70 at the max, 49 would be the norm. You can keep leveling all you want(till every skill is at 100) but the game was designed for 1-50 characters. I think it is lame that you don't have a level 1 perk, start people off at level 0 in the intro if you need to.

Is there any indication that this is the only way to increase carrying capacity? If not you don't need to dive into it. I see also that I'm going to have to find more perk space for a few speech perks. :)

Every point you put into stam (you get 1 point per level to increase either Health, Mana, or Stamina) you get +5 to carrying weight. It starts at 300.

I knew stamina did, though I didn't know the # so thank you for that info. I unfortunately or not saw that capacity starts at 300 which in theory sounds pretty good. For my first character I think it's going to be a little ironic since I don't tend to think strength on assassin/thief build but since most of my leveling up points are going into Health/Stamina it sounds like it's going to work out well.

BGS said soft cap at 50 and much grinding to get past that point. Also, as you said the game is not balanced for character who go past that level.

With that in mind, I think it is somewhat fruitless to plan above 49 perks. If the game is not balanced beyond level 50, while you can put in a lot of work to get past it, your choices will matter less and less since there is nothing harder out there for you to fight. You could start the Destruction tree after all your melee stuff at lvl 50+ so you can experience a different combat style, but it is not really going to advance your character since they will already be at the zenith of game power, and everything else will just be turning the slider down, I think. Maybe it is worth it on hardest though?

I honestly think aiming to get game defining perks around lvl 30 will be best.

Huh, I figured it would be health, and stand would boost movement/jump.

What does raising hp boost?

For every point into health, mana, or stamina you get +10. I think stamina is the only one with an added affect.

Alteration spells as well as feather potions will increase your carrying capacity as well.

Really? I wonder if there is a cap. i mean if it is 1 for 10 and you get 10 a level I could increase my health by 100 a level 49 levels later and i am at 5,000 HP. Totally possible, but damn that seems kind of huge.

It may be the case that increasing your Magicka increases your Magicka regeneration rate.

Every level you get 1 point I thought? So it'd be +490 hp by level 50.

Ah, I had heard you had 10 points to distribute. But it is 1 point that =10 in a stat.

I worded it poorly, sorry.
Each level you can add 10 to something.

+10 health, +10 mana, or +10 stamina/carry weight.

It is fairly solid, my 2 issues is Allure starting a chain and persuasion being a prereq for intimidation they should have been separate spokes off of bribery. But other than that is looks pretty good.

I like it. It's Barter vs Speech. Very well-organized.
