Speed modifier

I looked at the wiki but couldn't find anything. Is there a function or console command to increase the movement speed of the player?

That's the only settings that I know of, and I'm pretty sure that these settings effect all NPCs as well.

basically there are 2 ways, one is to add perk with Modify Run Speed

or manually increase the speed mulitiplier

"Player.ModAV SpeedMult 50"

get into sneak mode for 1 second, and your speed is set to your previous speeed + 50 that you just added.

Thanks. Another one; How do I tag a weapon as holdout weapon? So it can't be removed. I thought just setting it as a SmallGun would be enough, but I guess there's some other value determining that.

I imagine you have to add it to a form list of holdout weapons.

Regarding changing speedmult, I notice NV varies the player's speed in a lot more ways than FO3 did. Does anybody know if that hack where you damage the player's legs is still necessary for speedmult changes to take effect? I'll be testing it out pretty soon if nobody else has.

Yeah. It appears that you still have to damage the leg to get the speedmult to change (tested with my backspeed mod; would only apply changes if leg was damaged)

You can damage speedmult itself and then restore it.
