So, being the Dragon Age fan that I am, I thought it'd be cool to make them work like my favourite Dragon Age spell: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Virulent_Walking_Bomb. Basically, I want them to cause an explosion if the target is still under the effect of the poison when they die, giving the poison a chance to jump to any targets unfortunate enough to be caught in the radius of the explosion, who can then in turn explode, and pass the poison on to anyone else nearby, and so on and so on.
At the moment, I've got a basic version of this down: the poison's magic effect causes an explosion, which has a poison enchantment on it, which in turn uses the poison magic effect.
However, what I'd really like to do, is make it so that the explosion only triggers when the target dies.
Does anyone have any idea how I could get that to happen?
