Spellsword Names

This is my bajillionith character. Okay that's an exaggeration, however, I messed up on some lines of customization with a few of my characters and never really liked them. I had a dream recently about a Spellsword and have ultimate inspiration and I'm really liking the way he's coming along in the character customization. He's going to be a Breton spellsword. He also has a pretty nice backstory, but I won't put it up here in the general discussion because it deals with a very heavy topic that I don't think would be appropriate for all eyes.

But now I'm stuck on the name. I was consideirng the name Gale, but that doesn't very Breton like at all. Gale or Brooke. I was wanting something sort of watery or weathery in name and sound. And wanted to see if the community had any suggestions.

If you do want his background you only need to ask and I'll PM it to you. It's very intriguing.

They don't have to be French. There weren't many 'French named' NPCs in Daggerfall, which took place in Highrock. In fact, all surnames in that game were just two of a list of 8 or so names, put together. you didnt really start seeing the French names until Morrowind. Which is why my Breton Pure Mages name Gilliam Moorford may seem a bit 'un Breton' like in regards to Morrowind and Oblivion naming conventions, but is actually a traditional Daggerfall/Highrock name.

I went with the name Gale. I liked it. It feels magey.

I name my characters on what feels mystical and magey. Granted I don't know why the parents would name their kid...."Helios", but eh whatever.

"I feel it's a mage" says the mother. rofl.
