Those steampunk spiders look pretty cool actually.. also, depending on the type and size of the spider I would probably be on edge too. Small spiders I wouldn't really mind, daddy long leg spiders are cool and looking it up it seems they actually can penetrate our skin but nothing serious would come of it (I wouldn't want one crawling on me though). When it comes to bigger, deadlier spiders though.. well, I wouldn't want to be near them.


Also, this is probably why you're not afraid of them.. they really make me think of the Dwemer spiders in Skyrim more than anything. I think they would actually be pretty cool to have.

That second one looks amazing. Spiders aren't a huge fear of mine, although I'd be wary around black widows and the likes.

Probably the biology involved. There is an instinctual level fo fear for venomous or poisonous animals in our DNA. Your mind probably simply recognizes that these are not poisonous/not real so they no longer scare you.

Its Probably because you've destroyed so many of them in Skyrim that you don't even feel threatened around them anymore.

Because the Steam Punk spiders are not scary and you know they're fake. If these things were actually like the Dwarven Spiders in Elder Scrolls then I'm sure you would be scared of them.
