Just got back from seeing the new Riddike movie. For anyone else who has seen it just wanting to know what you think.

I thought it was a good movie, and worth watching, but was just a little weird, and I had some major problems with it. Instead of advancing the plot they pretty much just remade Pitch Black, only with less death and less character/relationship development. The happy bouncy music when he was playing with his dog was pretty out of place as well.

Anyone else think that they took a really odd turn making this movie have this plot line?
