I'm reading several places that people tell people to post in the spoiler section and not here. Seriously, isn't this the spoiler section, or did the thread got moved from the other sections and the "Moved from" note is hidden in some way?

Like, this section literally states:

Dishonored Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers
Please post any game-related info that contains gameplay cheats or hint, requests for help, or anything that might contain spoilers in this forum.

When topics with spoilers are posted in the general section we usually move them to the spoiler section. It could be that some people say 'this should be in the spoiler section' before it's actually moved. Sometimes a moderator mentions it when he moves a thread but not always.

I understand OP's confusion.

Perhabs a way of showing that a topic has been moved, would help.

There is a way to see if a topic has been moved, but only if you go into Dishonored General and see a arrow point left to the left of the topic title, instead of a filled circle. You don't see it in the topic itself.
