In my game, it is impossible for my husband to move to Lakeview Manor, there is no option for him to do so.
He can move to his old house, or my house in Markath, but no new options.

This is quite annoying:/
I dont want a new house if my spouse cant live there.

Same here! Instead I don't have any option for my wife to change home... she is stuck in Breezehome.

Got the same thing going on with mine also I couldn't get a child in my new house and had to move it into my house in solitude.

Also having the same problem. My spouse is Jordis the Sword-Maiden if that helps at all and she's stuck at Breezehome along with my adopted child. There is no dialogue option to move to any other house.

Couple questions for you guys...


1.) Do you have the Main Hall built or have a bed in the small house?
2.) Have you added a Bedroom wing with at least one child's bed and one child's chest?*

*If you have two children, you'll need 2 beds for children and two chests.

I had given the steward money to furnish the house, but I guess she hadnt gotten around to the beds yet.
When I manually added a double bed, I was able to move my spouse.

2) Havent tried adoption yet, sorry.

It worked for me too thanks. Just to say that I have two childs and it worked
