Haven't seen any topic related to this, so decided to make one.

Ever since installing Dragonborn DLC, I have been getting constant stability problems. I can never tell when the game is going to crash, and it keeps me from playing for extended periods of time. It crashes when opening the inventory, loading, fast travelling and even when fighting once. The problems are not time based, as sometimes I can play for an hour or two, sometimes I barely manage to do something and the game crashes. And I haven't been having crashes before. Maybe one in a month or so. I have the game installed on my hard drive, though it's disk based. And the crashes haven't occurred before installing Dragonborn so I'm suspecting something in the DLC must be causing that.

It's not just loading screens, although the game does freeze mostly on them. But like I said,it's not just on them.

Sounds like you have not turned off all the autosaving options Epicwolf, if your game is having stability problems it is going to have trouble autosaving anything. And Dragon born has compulsory autosave points which is causing problems for some of us.

The old problem of the game occasionally freezing on a loading screen is getting worse, but I do not think it would be responsible for all the trouble you are having. If turning off all autosaving does not fully cure the stability issues, you would need to uninstall the game and DLC clear the system cache, then reinstall the game, patch and all the DLC. A fresh install of everything will get the game running better for a while.
