I wanted to bounce this off everyone and see if maybe they are seeing the same trend emerging in the available information we have concerning stamina as a character resource.
So for it appears that stealth, weapon use, dodging, power attacks, sprinting and blocking all consume stamina, which makes perfect sense.
Obviously my speculation is premature since we don't have hard numbers to look at and compare, but my concern is that I'm going to be spending too much time in game jockeying my stamina bar instead of focusing on enjoying the thrill of combat.
My first choice for a character is a straight up necromancer, but I'd also love to roll a Nord "berserker" type character; medium armor, high mobility and a little stealth so you can get in close enough to charge in and attack with a two-hander and unload devastating power attacks. Just looking at this on paper it already reads like a stamina hog.
Being an avid pvper I'm already beginning to sense how overly important this stat could become, especially if you decided to take advantage of it and roll a "stamina leech" type character and rig all your enchantments to drain stamina and instantly trivialize another player with items, not skill. I dunno, maybe I've played these games too long and begin worrying that I'm not going to have as much freedom as I'm lead to believe and will be railroaded into a killer app build no matter how well intended the game design is.
Again a lot of this is just blowing smoke and thinking out loud but I was curious as to what some of you think.
