Me and my mates just got back from the Star Trek marathon. Star Trek at 9pm and then midnight release of ID.

I must say, wow. Greatest Trek movie ever, and I am an *avid* fan and Trekkie.

I don't even know where to begin. The entire plot was phenomenal. The way they implemented Klingons and Khan was superb. I am really really pleased with JJ lately. Really pleased.

I was completely oblivious to the thick of the plot until the identity of Khan was revealed.

I also LOVED the homage this film played to TOS, and the TOS films.

I give ID a 10/10. The film had great writing, amazing directing, hilarious dialogue, and quite superb space battles.

That's my only two annoyances about the film, evidently they both happen at the same time

For your first question, Vulcans are not human, and are far more advanced physically than humans. It was stated many times in TOS and Voyager that Vulcans possess like 3x human strength speed endurance etc? That's how Spock leaped 10 feet in the air to get on Khans getaway craft.

As for your second, she didn't stun him on the bridge. He was pretending to be stunned to create a tactical advantage. Khan is virtually immune to phaser stuns.

Vulcans are supposed to have superhuman strength if I'm not mistaken.

Lets be honest here: who though Kirk legit died? I actually did. Then I saw the tribble and Mcoy and shouted out "KHANS BLOOD!!" lol

Also, who likes that twist with Spock on the outside and Kirk dying from radiation? Great scene.

Also, surprised to see another Nimoy cameo.
