Start fresh or not?

Evening good folk of Skyrim

Im level 32, A Dederic wearing Warrior... my perks are in Heavy Armor + 1h but since i got the Dederic 2h been using that as it looks ever so mean :D

Now, ive never got to level 80... only my last play at level 40 but i rushed the story where this play ive took my time to enjoy it and mainly do the side quests...and ofcourse do them in a new way..

Here comes my questions...

Im always tempted to start fresh as a sneaky archer type...trying to get the sneak kills and so on...
I would try magic but there is not enough options with skills and "cloth/robe" options to keep me interested i think..or am i wrong?

I know there is a way i can reset my skills..ahem but since im a "nord warrior"...playing from start as a new race would suite the sneaky style i get tempted to play...

BTW im playing on the xbox...i could delete the vast ammount of "saved games" on my nord and keep just the latest to come back to...but then ive put alot of time into my nord..

What do you think guys? start fresh? respec?

Just reset your perks. You are on Xbox, so you have access to Dragonborn.

I always start fresh if I get tired of the current character I'm playing. Gives me a chance to try and see the world through a new set of eyes, so to speak.

Yes ive completed dragornborn on it, hence why i put "ahem" about skill resets but that still does not allow for stat reset as regards to magika/health & stam.

Any one played a archer or a mage? and got a few mins to go through how you played it that you found fun or interesting?

Oh yeah. Sneak builds are awesome. You actually takes time to appreciate the environment and look at everything around you. I would also suggest Illusion to go with your Sneak builds.

Start over.

I personally switch characters quite often which keeps the game fresh when there is always something new to find and do in the game. Also if you now switched weapons, you will become to regret it sooner or later and you will always be lagging behind in perks.

Just make a new character and keep this one in storage.

Get a flash drive to store that Daedric-wearing warrior on... would hate to see all that effort put into a character just get flushed away.. (of course that's what I would do).

Thanks for the replies guys.

Shame i have spent pretty much this week grinding my smithing to nearly 100 but once got dederic armor was not that impressed. i am "tempted" to reset this one to mage and then create a fresh one for the archer...

What in illusion makes it useful? shame magic tree's dont look that good in skyrim..or am i wrong

You know I felt that way when I just couldn't play on one of my character's saves anymore, due to countless glitches ruining my fun. I worked my ass off for dragon armor, and was very reluctant about starting her character over...

... That is until I found out about a certain book... :3

Now it doesn't seem so painful anymore.

I currently have my main character (Nord Worrior-sword and board) that I am going through doing as many quest as I can and just discovering the world of Skyrim. I also have another charcter that I play for short periods at a time. This one is an Unarmed Archer-Kajiit that right now I am just traveling the roads discovering locations. Once I am done with my nord worrior I should have my kajiit at a decent level where I can play that sneak archer character I have been wanting to without the drag of leveling from the ground up.

With all of the races and build types, the game practically begs you to make multiple characters.

Thats a very good idea Zombified... I would like to create a Archery(robber) type.... fighting from the distance, robbing houses and so on..

I cannot bring myself to join the theives guild with my heavy armor nord... doesnt seem right.
