Yeah I just started to get the frame rate drop and my save file is just above 5.5 mb. I noticed it getting a little weird around intense places at 4.5-5 mb.

Gotta find the silver lining in everything. Yeah, it might seem bad right now. But just take comfort in knowing that what you're experiencing now... won't seem so bad in 10 hours.

It' is not a pandemic, but this is the worst possible issue a AAA title has ever have, if you don't like us talking about it gtfo these forums. We paid for a game three weeks ago that we can't play

I'm afraid there's dark times ahead. Even though my game lags alot after a while, it it nowhere near the worst part. The worst part is that ~70% of my quests are bugged and can't be completed. I can restart the PS3 to get rid of the lag for a few hours but there's nothing I can do when quest items just aren't there.

I'm surprised by the amount of people, who claim to not be experiencing ANY problems, with giant save games and over 100 hours of game time, who somehow find their way to the Hardware and Software issues forum... which is specifically designed for people to post about problems they are experiencing. Hey "Kyler", why are you visiting this subforum if your game is running fine ?

I can tell you this, if I wasn't having any problems with Skyrim myself, I would have never discovered these forums, or bothered registering. I'd be playing the game in peace, oblivious to all these problems other people are having..

To be fair, I'm in here complaining because I read about the bug and I'm nervous - I have 7.7 MB save. No lag at all though...

That same dragon issue occured to me at around the same mark - ie 20 hours. It looked very strange and took a long time to give up the soul. It also started to get very laggy in Whiterun.

I noticed that two Alik'r warriors, who were obviously a failed cleanup from an earlier quest, had started lurking inside Whiterun's gate... I decided to break my roleplay and murder them, since it annoyed me so much. Lo and behold, Whiterun became playable again.

I'm now around 35-40 hours (put the game on the shelf until they sort out the magic resistance) and haven't had any further issues, apart from a couple of crashes. Framerate has generally been fine. Time will tell though, I'm sure.

Quest bugs were what brought me to the forum - I've hit so many of them it's a joke, and I'm convinced some of them are contributing factors to the lag issues other people are facing. Unfinished scripts hogging memory has been a problem since Morrowind. Very annoying to know Bethesda won't even start looking at these until January. How big a holiday do these guys need? I get 3 days off, tops.

And it begins, within the next 6-10 hours it will get unplayable.
