i purchased skyrim for the xbox and started a new game...i also purchased the dawnguard dlc.....im at level 9 and now im being attacked by everybody!!! whats up with that??? im a vampire now ...not by choice either ....did the game just automatically make me a vampire??? i thought it was a choice to become a vampire.. can this be fixed??? am i stuck with this? please help

Probably did a wring mission to become a vamp, and if everyone is attacking you you must have a really high bounty

Yeah... Stage 4 attacks stop now. If you are not in VL form, you should not be attacked. If you are in VL form, expect to be attacked by everyone.

You must have contracted vampirism from somewhere as the game doesn't just stick you with it. There is a quest where you can cure you vampirism. Speak with Falion.

thanks everyone for the posts regarding the dawnguard/evryone wanting to kill me saga....i just ended up strting a new game and now im okay....id rather be a werewolf anyway...thanks again guys.....level 23 here i come

Just for your information, you can get vampire desease from their red light spell. So even you did not take the vampire quest you can still get infected. After infected you got three days to clear your desease. So it is suggested to check you did not get infected after each fight with vampire

To clear it you can use cure desease potion or use the blessing from altar.

If you did not get cure in 3 days, you will become a vampire. To cure it you need to either do a quest to be werewolf.

While you are a vampire if you do not drink blood for few days and enter stage 4 vampire you will instant hostile by everyone until you feed yourself

That stops in Dawnguard. People will no longer attack you at Stage 4

they really should have a "Change log" section for each patch/DLC. Hate all those known mechanic changing without being notified
