Steal, murder and kill with BUCKETS

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 5:24 pm

Hi @ll!

Just wanted to report a (funny) bug with Oblivion:

The Line of Sight is correctly implemented. So is the Sight-blocking function of items. BUT Beth didn't think about player creativity. Put a Bucket on the head of any NPC and you can steal everything. Because there is no Line of hearing, you can even kill the buckethead's spouse.

Now the most important weapon for thiefs/assassins are: BUCKETS!

I guess they DON'T have a line of hearing or they would hear their spouse's screams :D

I think this qualifies as one of the fun bugs they would leave unfixed by choice if they caught during testing.

I still think someone needs to shoot someone in the hea....bucket and see if the bucket stops the arrow or if it still kills them and post the results on YouTube.

And now that I think about it - do wooden buckets act differently than metal ones? Did anyone already try?
