Hi all- really enjoying Skyrim with my Woodelf (stealth, archery, light armor), as many of you are. I had a quick question on combat while in STEALTH (forgive me if this has already been addressed). I know the benefits of attacking in stealth, but am unclear on the following:

Is there any combat penalties when attacked in stealth/crouched? Say I shoot an enemy with my bow in stealth, and am immediately engaged in melee. Do I incur or deal out more/less damage while crouched? Is it better to uncrouch when meleeing?

I believe you attack faster when standing. Other than that I dont think the damage is any different.

You attack a lot faster while standing upright. Plus you can maneuver a lot better.
