Stealth and Horror

Thinking back to Thief, some of the most memorable stages involved an atmosphere closer to a survival horror game. I'm thinking of missions like the Return to the Haunted Cathedral in Thief 1 or The Shalebridge Cradle in DS.

With a supernatural element to the story and the already zombie-like weepers, it seems Dishonored is ripe for at least one good horror-themed mission, but do you think we'll get one?

While I love the painterly art direction of the game, I'm not sure how well it would lend itself to a sense of fear, and many of the stages are well lit. I'm hoping we get a genuinely creepy scenario at some point that makes me fear stepping out of the shadows...

Depending on your Chaos during the game you will get to see more and more weepers but you do bring up an interesting point there. What other kind of mission will we get? I highly doubt there will be a weeper centered level do due to the whole Chaos thing but there is actually room for greatness here.

Spoiler
The narrative alters little by little depending on your choice in the game. Most recent example is actually torturing Campbell (the leader of the religion that is against The Outsider) and other assassinations will be possible to have things like that depending on your choices. Well what if the final level is entirely based around one choice? You make a choice from the start and you go with it through the entire level. We'll just have to wait and see on that one
