The thing is that I feel like I get caught way too much. Let me give some examples.
Going out only at "night" with 68 sneak, the first perk bonus of 20 percent, armor noise perk, and boots of stealth add another 15 to sneak. Also, I wear only light armor.
So, why is it that everyone can spot me before I can even get close enough to kill them? This happens mostly outside. I've done a ton of stealth kills inside, but outside even at night, I might as well give up.
It doesn't matter if they have line of sight, are sitting, standing, sleeping, whatever. It doesn't matter if I move or not either.
At one fort, people were saying "I hear something" every time I was "hidden." They were on constant lookout. I wasn't even close to some of these people. This was at different kinds of forts, both open and gated. I am constantly being discovered no matter what.
Like I said, sometimes it works fine. I got my skill this high with mostly stealth kills in dungeons.
My first character was a sneak type as well. I don't remember it being this hard to raid a fort at night. Am I missing something, or is this not working right? With this new patch, I don't know anymore...
