Steam - Are you kidding me?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 3:29 pm

Is this a joke or something? I can't even install the game because of Steam being busy. Why is the game even installing through Steam in the first place?

Fix, please. Now. This is [censored].

Eh, installing from disc doesn't work either... Still getting the Servers are too busy error.

God, this is so stupid. What's wrong with a good, old-fashioned install?

EDIT: Ok, now it's downloading. Just 4 hours and 45 minutes left. Cool, just spent $225 on Collector's Edition, and now I'm stuck rest of the day because of [censored] services such as Steam.
[censored] you, Bethesda, or whoever made the call to go through Steam. I don't even see the point with that.

Good old fashioned game discs have a 35% profit margin for the publisher. Steamworks games have a 70% profit margin.
You are being inconvenienced so that Bethesda Softworks can make twice as much money for the same product.

I'm getting the "Steam is busy...." aswell, even though I'm doing the "install from disk"-trick.

Why arent we getting an official answer from Bethesda?

Try this over and over. It worked on my second attempt. Make sure to follow the instructions exactly.
