I brought up the Elder Scrolls V: Properties window and under the DLC tab I noticed the following DLC's in the list that are installed on my system;

Dawnguard
Hearthfire
Skyrim High Resolution Texture Pack
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Japanese Dawnguard
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Japanese Hearthfire

Why are the Japanese versions of Dawnguard as well as Hearthfire on my list of aquired software and how to I remove them so that only the english/original Dawnguard and Hearthfire remain?

You'll probably want to contact steam support about this.
