Steam is trolling me?

Hey,

I've bought today Skyrim the DVD and wanted to install it. So I put the DVD inside my PC, press install, steam pops up, the game is showing up in my library and then suddenly this [censored]' (sry) Steam says I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD IT? Sry but WHAT THE [censored]? I bought this stupid DVD to install the game and play it asap and not download the whole game. Seriously whats that? And the best thing is that steam is telling me that the servers are down and I cant even install it! Im sorry that I sound so angry (and that my language isn't that good) BUT IS STEAM [censored]' TROLLIN' ME? I want to play this game NOW, ASAP and not after I downloaded it, why else should I buy the DVD? Because its pretty? I hope someone can help me how I can install it without Steam or something. And yes I wrote a mail to steam, but this stupid support needs 9 hours for a answer which is completely useless.

Try reading the sticky topic on the top of this forum...the one that says "Installing from Disc instead of Steam "

You have to quit the steam client each time the game doesn't start to install from DVD, you cannot click the install in the main steam client, that will download the game.. this was how I got it to install
