I bought a new, faster computer. Tried to re-install Skyrim. Steam allows 30-34 % (have done this twice) and then locks--will not install more on my new computer.First time, I tried to do this with the same login from old computer. I was directed to enter a code from an email sent to me. Then I put Skyrim disk in computer and tried to install. Steam locked at 30 %. When I went back to Steam, each time, they sent an email "code" to my computer, but each time they said it was accepted, but, when Iogged on again to Steam, it again said, "We sent you an email, etc." Each time, could not install afterwards. So, I cancelled the account, opened a new account and now I can download 34% before it just stops. The disk is still working in my computer, but nothing is happening. Suggestions? Anything would be appreciated.

Did you do a clean uninstall and wipe of all the steam directories? Any antivirus software installed?

Well, it was a new computer, so the steam directories were new. Anti virus is AVG.
