Will Doom 3 BFG edition ship in a steel case? It'd be cool if it did.

I didn't know they released games in steel cases o.O

Would be awesome though, would make it maybe 20% more badass.

Not necessarily. Remember, Bethesda recently rereleased Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as an anniversary edition in a steel case for $30 bucks. I don't think it cost too much for Bethesda to treat the BFG edition of Doom 3 to same special sauce :-).

Well, I'd imagine there would be some sort of special edition packaging for this title, it is DOOM after all. I would like a package that comes with figurines for ALL of the demons in the game. Now that would most likely be 20% more expensive, but I'd be willing to put down 20% extra money for it as well!

Perhaps the moderator of this forum can pose this question to iD or someone who's in contact with them. As for figurines of all the demons I'd settle for just a few.

And if they do include figurines as a result of my idea I would like a percentage of the profits made from it. Maybe like, 20%.

I wish there had been a steel case for the PC's original release. Hopefully Bethesda will show Doom 3 the same love they showed Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivon for its fifth anniversary release (limited steel case edition).

Still no word on whether the game will ship in a steel case? Let's hope it does.

Thanks for responding. That's disappointing to hear but it's cool. I'm still buying it when it comes out.
