Right now I am traveling around with Lydia. Would she be a good choice for a steward? Are there better choices? If so, why?

You cannot change the steward once they have accepted the position. As to whether they would make a good steward for you or not, that is up to you.

Who makes a good steward? Vilkas is already my husband and I read that you can't have his brother Farkas as steward. Everyone mentions Aela but I kind of prefer a male steward.
