Still autopausing?

Now this is still based on here-say and rumours, so I post it here to be on the safe side. But from what I understand, they don't pause the game when you talk to people (as seen in the videos) or when you craft (either blacksmithing or alchemy) which is great and a lot more immersive.

Yet apparently the game still pauses when reading or lock picking like in Oblivion. I find this a bit immersion breaking, maybe nit picking as usual, but I have always wished to be able to sit down in a tavern, bring forth a book and read it with the tavern sound and music in the background, and not just a paused menu.

Same with lock picking, it would be so much more exiting if we where trying to open a door before the guard approaches during his regular patrol. Kind of like the thief series.

Still maybe I got it wrong, but I really hope for something like that for this game now that they have understood the concept of an actively moving world around you.

A lot of people say this.

Personally it doesn't really bother me, but I can understand why people don't like it

It's not immersion breaking for me. When you go to the menu the game pauses as well. I would find it hard to see everything around you when in the Skyrim lockpicking mode so why would it be in real time? When reading a book the book is right in front of you so why would the devs make that real time.

I know lockpicking you can't change your immersion but when reading a book you can only read it in your home or your room in an inn so distractions will not come into play.
