I've waited forever for this update !!!! Does anyone have the same issue or know of any solution? If not Im gettin my money back. can i sue?

Better have a great attorney, and much more money than $60. Dealing with this in civil court will net you a debt higher than the value of the game.

Remember its not wise to talk legal action on the company forum the mods will lock it out as soon as they see it. Anyways if your going to pursue action you should simply do it and not announce it to the world you would like to. By blasting it out here anyways it means your not serious about it. This will be locked post haste I am sure.

Ok so I did some searching and apparently all i have to do is switch back to default controls and now it works. wish i knew this 2 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS WORKED. I will need to delete/edit my topic. It s a shame I can't use custom button layouts but I will sacrifice that for the ability to finally enjoy the game. Thank you for the find.

I had the same problem using the non-default controls.

I read somewhere that you need to hold down the 'B' button (or whichever button you're pressing to access the terminal), otherwise you just see the blurry background and no green-on-black text.

Give it a go - it worked for me...

(Was hoping this would be part of the patch: holding the button down all the way through the hack attempt makes things a bit awkward!)

Aye, i know i (and a lot of others) reported the problem the day after the game came out and I found and reported the hold down the button solution about 2 days after it came out. I'm still playing this game and it does get tiring doing that but hey at least I have custom controls. I'm not happy to hear it hasn't been fixed with it being reported so soon after release.

AWESOME! I've had this problem too, I don't want to loose my custom settings but at least I can play the game and see the terminals!! I hope they patch this quick, it's such a stupid thing not being able to custom map a controller!! Now all I have to do is clear my cache and hopefully it'll stop freezing every 12-20 minutes!
