So, I started Raul's quest after I downloaded the patch and everything went fine. I talked to Loyal and Corporal Sterling and got the dialog to trigger, no problem. Then, I went to Ranger Andy. I talked to him and I ended up learning the Ranger Takedown move through a Speech Check. After exhausting the dialog tree, doing Andy's sidequest to visit the ranger station, etc. I went outside. The dialog never triggered. I've tried talking to Ranger Andy several more times then going outside...still nothing. Cleared my Cache and re-downloaded the patch and nothing. Anyone know a solution?

As for me Old sch ghoul never came up as a quest for me. I completed it and Raul made his choice. But I never got any message that said I even started or completed it.
I have found out later that old sch ghoul is an unmarked quest.

And you're sure you went through everything huh? Strange... I had a similar problem pre-patch, but on the saved game after the patch everything was fine. You'll want to make sure you're even going over everything a couple times (there's two ways to get him to tell the story, listen to him tell it both ways), other than that, I'm not sure... you have Raul with you WHILE all this is happening right?

Yeah. I had Raul in my party the whole time. For whatever reason, after I learned the Ranger Takedown from Ranger Andy...he never talked to me when we went outside. I wonder if it has anything to do with me learning the move from the Speech check?

For some reason learning the move while Raul is in the party has been shown to prevent the Raul trigger for Old School Ghoul. Only thing I can recommend is reloading to a previous save and learn the move without Raul in your party, then pick up Raul and see if you can trigger the dialogue.

I looked everywhere around Nellis and Black Mountain couldn't find Loyal to finish the quest. Any ideas where he might be?
