Stop being so selfish!

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 9:28 am

I have been browsing through the forum's and some people are nice and thank Bethesda for the great work they have done on Hearthfire but then I am seeing all these people who are complaining and moaning because they can't have a kitchen and a library. I can understand that everyone has a different opinion but that doesn't give you a pass to go and right a book on how the dlc svcks and Bethesda don't know what they are doing. Long story short you are making the good guys in this community looks bad and I recommend you start waiting for dlc to come out and check it's contents before you buy and stop expecting such perfection from Developers.
I made an Account on these forums just to write this and try and get some message across to you few selfish lot.
To everyone else enjoying this dlc leave me your thoughts and your favorite house so far.

With all due respect, your example complaint sounds like an incredibly reasonable complaint. It's quite understandable people might want a kitchen (yknow, a basic part of any home?) and a library.

You can't even have a kitchen and a library on the same house? This DLC is worse than I thought.

So, wait. Were you planning on making an account anyway, or do you just stalk these forums and decided now was your time? Also, they aren't really being selfish. They're just telling people what they think of the DLC. I like it, but my biggest problem is your house is either tiny or huge.

I meant people are complaining because they can't have both only one or the other. I should have put that in and I thank you for your reply.

Why go on forums about it if you were not expecting much from it ?

Yeah and I'm saying that sounds like a reasonable complaint.

The implication is that if I have, say, a mage character and I definitely want a library, then I can no longer build a kitchen, which again, is a basic part of any home.

I didn't really go on the forums that much until about a week ago and I just today got round to making an Account!

Wait til you actually play it before you decide to pass judgement. The dlc is great.

Opinions are like [censored] holes. Everyone has one, and we all have to suffer when they start to stink.

People are going to complain, kiss Bethesda's hind end, tell them what they did wrong, tell them what they did right, and even fall down in the bathroom, hit their head and have a vision of an idea that will revolutionize the game that goes on for seven large paragraphs.

It's my duty as a consumer to be selfish. I want all they make for free, they want all my money for nothing. And when we reach an acceptable compromise, sale happens. No Skyrim DLC sales have happened with me yet ;)

They give you the choice of more than one home. If you are looking after kids in one then have a kitchen. If you are wanting to make and create stuff have the library in another home.

OP. Making a topic just to complain about the complainers is not something we do. Feel free to join in the topics here but you will see we do allow people to have a moan and complain - as long as it stays constructive and civil.
