Storage Problems

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 10:13 pm

Hey all, I have a problem relating to my stash of treasures and a lack of a place to put them, that's safe anyway. See I have re-appropriated an Orc Fort and use it to store a myriad of Books, Ore, Hides and other treasures which seemed fine to me - BUT I've heard down the graqevine that dungeons and such re-populate and/or that my things will go missing after however long. What's the deal here, are my things safe where they are 'til I can buy a home, or not? : P

See, I haven't started the main quest yet - I haven't even been to Riverwood, but I'm hanging out in Markarth atm and the Jarl mentioned I could buy a home, if I gain enough favor with him. So naturally I'm working on some quests and hoping it will please him enough to let me live in his fine City. Does anyone know how or what I have to do to be able to purchase the home in Markarth.

I need somewhere safe and proper to store all my stuff, I'm scared it'll disappear or get stolen, or, or... Yea : (

Thanks ~

Go to RIverwood, you get to share storage space in a house there.

Oh really? Is it part of the main quest, 'cos I don't mind just getting up to the part where I can have some storage : P but I'd rather leave the rest for later. Thanks for the tip, but I'd still like to know what the respawn timer is on cleared dungeons, or what the deal is with storing items there temporarily.

I saw somewhere that the dungeon timer is set to respawn somewhere around a month in-game time. Don't quote me on that though, lol.

If that's the case, I might move them periodically - to newer dungeons I've cleared : P that should work, in the meantime.
