Stormcloak Victory. Is it possible to dispose of every non N

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 10:21 pm

In my latest roleplaying character - a Nordic stormcloak - I just finished the civil war quest for the stormcloaks.

To continue with the roleplaying I've decided in the spirit of Nordic victory and superiority to butcher every non-Nordic character in Skyrim like as part of Ulfric personal stormtroopers or death squad. Targeting especially all Imperials and beast races especially. I'm on a PC so I can make essential NPCs non-essential. I feel this is the ultimate way to make Skyrim for the Nords.

My question is, is this really possible? Do foresworn and other non-Nordics respawn at various dens? I want to walk around Skyrim eventually without seeing any non-Nordics except for animals which I can't do anything about. Also would this ruin several quests if I kill characters before I complete them?

I feel this is the natural next step after Ulfric's victory but obvious this is non-PC so there won't be quests like this put into the game so I'm just roleplaying as Ulfric's SS and having fun with it.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

While the bigotry approach for the Stormcloaks can have a case made for it, I do not think it is practical. There are numerous people of various races that were born in Skyrim and have proven their loyalty. I can see them being limited on their upward mobility within Nord society. I can see all Jarls being only Nords as well as other positions of nobility. However from a purely functional society point of view this is extreme. This also begs the question of that about the College of Winterhold? Most Nords blame the college for the destruction of the city and have a disdain for Magic, would it be destroyed?

Well, why don't you move the essentials into some of the remote bandit lairs throughout the game. You could lock the gates and put stormcloak guards around them. I know someone tried this ...

That's a good point. I'll go and butcher everyone in that college the next time I play. I might not be able to take on everyone there with only the two of us though since I don't play with Magic (only shouts) and use only melee. Some Nords are married to Imperials though like Sven in Riverwood so I don't know how I'm gonna be able to deal with his wife without him defending her.

Ideally, all non-Nords would be expelled from Skyrim but the game doesn't give that option. So the only solution is the final one.

Ulfric isn't hitler, he doesnt plan for genocide of everything except nords. He was fighting for nords freedom to worship who/what the want, against the now 'weak' version of the empire.

He's not trying to 'cleanse' skyrim of every other race, you're character could do but he wouldn't agree with you.

My character (breton who sided with the stormcloaks) preaches racial tolerance and equality to the people of skyrim, and ulfric after the civil war is over is more accepting of other races (seen though dialog).

What about killing all the Nords who supported the Empire while you're at it?

And why do you want to kill every non-Nord when the Stormcloaks themselves don't do it? RPing has limits, unless you've decided that your character is one of these fanatic criminals who do things they were not asked to do. Good luck killing all the Dunmers in Windhelm!

Well, no doubt there is no ''eliminate all non-nords'' quest because it simply does not make sense. There are quite some essential non-nords. Also, if you are a wood elf for example and you joined the stormcloaks...then that means that you have to kill your own people if the quest is put into the game.

I couldn't do it anyway as there are loads of non-nord main characters who cannot die and I'm playing on PS3.
Not that I agree with your genocidal ideas. And I'm sure ulfric would have something to say about that...
Unless you just killed the dark elves lol

Bit racist.

Your the type of character that gives the Stormcloaks a bad name. My character Jolgar Blackhawk is a Nord and loves Skyrim and ALL her people be they Khajiit, Dark Elf or anything in between. Jolgar understands that anyone who loves Skyrim and wants her independent of the Empire rule is good enought to be a true son of Skyrim.

Back to your topic:

On PC sure I guess you could kill of every non Nord but I feel that would leave your game dull and have a feel of it missing something.

I've only played Imperial, and don't RP. You Stormcloak role-players are fanatical. Having said that, go for it--you'd be adding something to your experience with the game that would be fairly unique. But to your question about ruining quests; yes, it will definitely ruin a plethora of quests if you go around using the console to kill essential NPCs. I'd advise 'cleansing' Skyrim after you've done everything else you intend to do.

You Stormcloak role-players are fanatical.

Well, the OP certainly is IMO, but please don't tar us all with the same brush.

My "fanaticism" with RPing a Stormcloak only extends so far as freeing the prisoners of Imperial/Thalmor patrols, killing their captors, making the CW a priority and trying to tie its timing and events in with other things to make it seem as realistic as possible, and having my first and primary home in Windhelm.

Oh and trying to serve as Ulfric's military escort/guard after he leaves Solitude and heads back to... wherever he's going, I assume Windhelm but if so he's not taking the easiest route by road and doing a considerable amount of time standing around along the coast just east of Solitude and enjoying the scenery. He also went for a brief swim and I really thought he was going to cross over and head home through the wilds of Hjaalmarch and the Pale but he just came right back to shore. He did kill three horkers that attacked us, okay well I killed one with an arrow but he went all dual axe wieldy and shouty on the other two before I could get to them.

It could be a very long, tedious trip, but I'm too interested now in what else could happen to give up on it. :P

Unless you're on PC it won't be possible because there are too many NPC'S set to essential that you won't be able to kill.

The ethnic cleansing approach. I'm sure Ulfric will reward you greatly. :tes:

I can't bear killing innocents. Once I shouted Balgruf's son into a wall because he kept calling me a bootlicker, but... that's about it.

I take games very seriously in that I play them like I really would do things. I mean, if I were an awesomely in shape Redguard with powers and weapon skills, of course...

Whenever I go imperial I make sure to execute everyone else because they might have lollygagged at some point(Disproportionate punishment is fun!). So yeah, go wild. It's your own character. Your motivations are your own, so you'd know best what you want him or her to become.

No wonder I prefer siding with the Empire.
