I just went into Darkfall Grotto for the first time (I listened to Serana on previous ocassions and avoided the place, but today I was in an exploring mood. Serana was not pleased.) I am trying to think of a story to go with the place. Where did the feral falmer come from? Did they kill the other falmer? Or was there some disease that killed most of the falmer there, but left a few alive? What's the deal with the pile of dead chaurus?

What are your thoughts on a plauseable story for Darkfall Grotto?
