Strange this you can collect in Skyrim

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 2:19 pm

I thought I'd start a post that people can add the ODd things they have been able to pick up in game.

For me it was a BEE as seen in this Llink

http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/5403/tesv2011113019062229.jpg

It was hovering in front of me and when i put my Crossheir over it the (E) pickup object buttun appeared,
turns out I can eat it as it put it in the Ingrediants of me inventory

PS. I stuffed up the Title and i can't change it, was supposed to say Strange "Things" you can pick up in game.

And I have found a few spigots in the game. I'm not sure what they are useful for.

Spigots are for hoarding, you have to keep every single one you find and drop them on the floor in your home.

I take pride in my book collection. I have all the volumes of the Wolf Queen in my home in Whiterun. Now I'm working on the Mysteries of Telara. It's fun and time consuming.

There are a bunch of bugs in jars, I've got a Lightning Bug and a Monarch Butterfly so far. I've seen others in pics and vids.

Empty Wine Bottles.

Skulls.

Hammers, Tongs. I was a wee bit disappointed to see they don't look like repair hammers from Oblivion.

Dishes. I was so disappointed I couldn't loot those awesome looking decorative Dwemer Urns.

Journals and Notes. I hoard them all. Usually have some interesting flavor text as well.

Regarding Bees, you can also harvest Bee Hives -- though there aren't that many around; Bee, Honeycomb and Beehive Husk. I haven't seen one to catch though.

I found Powdered Mammoth Tusk ingredient once, so I've been hoarding Mammoth and Horker tusks as well, I haven't figured out how to powder them yet though.

You can get such carry weights by using Console commands on the PC. The command is "player.modAV CarryWeight ####", without the brackets and where #### is the amount of carry weight you want to add.

You can't do this on Xbox or PS.

Do you have the books just sitting all over the floor or are you able to put them on shelves?

I am not sure about any of the other houses but the home in Whiterun you are able to activate the bookshelf and it will automatically place the books for you. Very cool option.

Well. I collect usually, all sort of craps.

My brother collects Human Skulls. He has baskets full of them in the Arch Mage's quarters in the college and he keeps the Traveler's skull on his nightstand. No console commands either, just grabs everyone he can find.

I myself go for Black-Briar Reserve. The most expensive food item in the game with default value at 100.
