Strange worldspace coords, missing 0,0

I have successfully created my first worldspace, following the guide on the Hoddminir development blog. The sea levels correct, mountains look good and there is no tearing. The map is 4096x4096.

The 'problem' I can't understand is the worldspace coords. If I COW WorldSpace 0, 0 I'm dropped into the ocean. I have to look at the coords generated by Tesannwyn to find a place to port to. One example is -161, -213. Nothing is in the positive range.

When I attempt to load the esp in the CK I don't see 0,0 in the locations list.

Shouldn't 0,0 be the center of my worldspace?
