Strong Arms bone-charm (slight spoiler)

Post » Mon Oct 22, 2012 1:21 am

Is it just me, or is this Charm ridiculously overpowered? It's by far the best bone charm in the game and honestly it's good enough to be a special power in the same vein of Agility, Shadow Kill, etc.

If you haven't heard of this charm, it allows Corvo to choke out an NPC almost instantly. I've actually stopped using it because I'm going for a non-lethal playthrough and this one freakin' bone charm makes the entire game too easy. Seriously, what other Charm even comes close??

Yes it is. And that is a GOOD thing.

Fortunately, you already have it figured out: don't like it, don't use it.

The best bone charms imo are the one you mentioned and the one that makes your mana recharge faster. I love em both.

Swift Shadow...I never upgraded my boots so this one has helped me more than a little. Incidentally, I think the game has a predictive streak for at least a quarter of the charms you get. Strong Arms just happened to be one of the first I got, but in this never-ending non-lethal PT I've obtained Swift Shadow, Acrobat, the mana and health charm, Scavenger (I think it realized I'm not spending any money lol), Reinforced Bolts (same cheapness) and so on.

But yeah, Strong Arms is godly :)
