As the title says, I'm stuck in 3rd person view and cannot move at all.

When I use the left anolog stick to move, it just changes the camera angle, viewing inwards and outwards and around.
I've tried going back into the first person view by clicking the right anolog stick but that doesn't work either.

Every time I reload a previous save, the same thing happens to that.

Does anyone else have this problem or any helpful comments to resolve this? It's basically destroyed the game for me because I can't even make a new character without it happening.

Gonna try a new controller if I can pick one up, but still, any help at all? Or anyone having the same problem?

Try changing the batteries in your controller, or getting a new one.

Did this happen after doing a Companions quest, by any chance?

I tried using a lot of different batteries, all brand new from a 24 pack, but yeah hopefully I'll be able to get a new controller tomorrow so I can try that.


Nah it was one of the Dark Brotherhood quests, I don't want to spoil anything in case anyone reads it, but it was during the quest To Kill an Empire, and I used the chef hat and then it just happened then.
