I am on 'Touching the Sky', on the 3rd quest ...Darkfall passage...to 'Fill the Initate's Ever'.

This is the one with no creatures just endless dark passageways.

I am at what looks like a temple ruin but I can't seem to go any farther. Is there some way to make the ruin open up or am I at a dead end.

Am I at the right place or do I need to go somewhere else?

The first is in the mushroom cavern three more are in exterior locations in the forgotten vale, and the final one is on the other side of the bridge to the temple.

I am trying to get to the third one, Darkfall passage. I am lost in the caves.

After you speak with Gelebor, there is only one in the caves. It is high up in the giant mushroom cave. Once you have that one, the rest are all outside in the vale.

I guess I am not explaining my problem correctly. I am lost in Darkfall passage. I have come up to what a appears to be a ruined temple (in the cave). The cursor and clairvoyance are both showing me I am the final temple but no one is there and there is no button to push. It appears I am at a dead end, Unless there is a bug here I can get anything to happen.
Maybe I am not at the right place but again clairvoyance shows me I am at the right place.

Are you in Darkfall Passage or Darkfall Cave? It sounds like you're in Darkfall Cave and that Knight-Paladin Gelebor hasn't spawned for you. He should be right next to the portal. After you talk to him, he'll open the portal, and then he and Serana will have a long conversation. After that's finished he'll give you the Initiate's Ewer and tell you what you have to do (you do have Serana as a follower and she is there, right?).

If this hasn't happened, then your game has glitched and you'll have to reload a save from prior to entering the cave to try again.

It's possible you met a glitch, since you say "This is the one with no creatures just endless dark passageways." - the cave definitely isn't uninhabited. Is that the same cave with the dead Breton by the campfire? Gelebor's wayshrine is just after that, in the same place.

The confusing thing is you have "Fill the Initiate's Ewer", which doesn't appear until you've spoken to Gelebor. After you speak to Gelebor he opens the first wayshrine, and you fill the Ewer (1/5) and enter the portal to Darkfall Passage, which is long and dark. After following the path you come to a dead end, and a skeleton with a note, saying how he'll wait here near the traps. Serana also mentions the traps and secret passage, and you have to pull one of two levers on the wall to open a passageway into a beautiful large cave, notable for a scary-looking Vale Saber Cat guarding the entrance. At the other end of that large cavern is the second wayshrine, accessible across a long stone bridge. There should be an Initiate guarding the wayshrine as well. Talk to him, fill the Ewer (2/5) and you can take the portal to the Forgotten Vale, which starts off in a cave but then exits into a large beautiful area where you can fast-travel to and from, but I think you're stuck at either the first wayshrine or the second.

Thank you for your responses I am in Darkfell Passage. I have done the Forgotten Vail which was the second quest I believe. At the end of Forgotten Vaie I see a waypoint, it is opened and I then begin Darkfell Passage.
In Darkfell Passage I see a big cave with glowing ....whatever they are. It looks like a grotto and I cross over it. But I have not see a skeleton with a note but did see the Saber Car and the 2 levers that open into a large cave but that is the cave I was already in. Serana has said nothing new.
I guess I will have to enter it yet again, I have started over 4 times and still no joy....I'm at level 48 so its not that I am not familiar with game. I will look again.


Am going back to Darkfell Cave and start over.
