I love them and This series is probably my favorite when it comes to RPG franchises, however,
In all of them There is a glaring issue with Factions and guilds.
Once you get to the top of the faction as a leader, instead of being rewarded by gaining complete control over the faction and its doings you are punished with absolutely no substance or anything to do.
You are the leader of the faction but it feels like you have retired from it.
The reason why i registered and created this topic is to suggest that Bethesda, when making the expansions or DLCs for this game will address this issue.
Allow some sort of late game faction warfare that is more randomized, like control over money from racketeering where you need to fight members of an opposite clan for turf dominance.
You could allow a player if successful to spread the influence of a certain faction across Skyrim..
What I'm saying is that There should be some sort of gameplay put in place where you command your faction and need to achieve certain goals but you are in command and you call the shots, if its picking between what jobs your faction will undertake or what territory you will try to take from a competing faction or what jobs or attacks you will lead yourself.
You can have many randomly generated jobs for this part of the game...
Different factions can have different goals of course but all of them should reward you with more control and substance when you get to the top....
Please readers if you agree, post here and tell Bethesda you want this.
