If you're on PC, you could temporarily change your FOV to a lower setting in order to zoom in on your character's face a bit more.
Yeah, unfortunately that's not really how I envisioned it - more like as a seamless part of the creation process. if we work on the face we want to see it up close. And from up, down, and back. I can't even lift my guy's chin to see how his jawline changed.

The tools are here, we are just unable to adequately get close enough to our character to see what's happening - especially when requires faint touches, like dirt tint and eye color and eye tint, etc. There's just got to be a renovation to the character creation system in this way, I think. Although I appreciate your workaround, I just want it to work like it should. We have so many intimate changes we can make and I'd love to see them in action!
