Hi,

I have a suggestion for the forums here that would save posters a bit of headache.

It would be great to have the ability to select our preferred system, via our user profile page, such that a small icon is displayed when you post which shows others what you play on.
Right now you get alot of gripes when people suggest mods as a solution to a certain issues, while the OP is on an Xbox or PS3. There are certain things that may pertain to one platform or another, and people might want to display their platform ahead of time, avoiding this kind of thing.

I am thinking a simple, smiley-sized icon of a Windows, Xbox & of course PS3 logos (Mac apple too, I suppose?) that could be located next to your name, under your location/post count, or somewhere on the left side of the page by your info.

Sure, signatures can work for that as evidenced by my signature, but not everyone uses signatures or uses them for that purpose.

If you're asking for help with something the first thing you should post is your system, it's common sense. I don't see a problem with your system (a lot of other forums have it) but it probably won't be implemented.

Overly sensitive fanners that don't understand not everyone reads every post other than the first Post when a question is asked..

The problem described is useless when there are different subforums for the game platform... which would mean the that the question would have been posted in the wrong forum.

seems logical. i don't play anything though, so i can't say much more than that.

i'd like to see custom title option... maybe after x number of posts or some other condition is met. but then again, it'd make things... like on other forums, so i guess it's better this way.

With an age limit, say, only forumites over 16 could discuss. Although I doubt it would be implemented, I believe the standard response is you can go somwhere else to discuss that.

I think that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have platform icons, maybe even preferred game of a series icons as well to let pthers know where you stand.
