Is the rumor that each time the game loads it resets the day of the week to Sunday? I have not noticed it.

Not an Urban Legend. Its a fact. It has been confirmed by multiple people including myself. How that got past game testing I have no clue.

Well it shows that Bethesda just threw the game together to get it to market. Perhaps a cash flow problem, but at the customers expense. I also heard that shops restock every 3 days so you'll have to play for a full week, Sunday to Sunday to allow restock. But if you crash and reload ... IT'S SUNDAY!! I might go back to the DC Wasteland for a while until this game is patched properly.

I've looked and looked and I can not find where the day is displayed!! I figured it was from the data map display but that only gives date. Where is it?

When you hit the wait key, or sleep.

While the day of the week is messed up, the actual Date is fine.

The only in game issue for this is Vendor Stock resets. If you do not spend 3 game days playing then exit the game, then start back again, the stock may not reset for one or more vendors. Until this is patched out, which it should be, if your vendor is not reseting the inventory, and you need them to get something else to sell, like a gun mod, then just wait 73 game hours for that. Since there are no timed quests, this is not going to effect anything else.
